O.K. today I ate rice cereal for the first time. Nana told Mommy that I needed something more than milk. She says I need something that sticks to my ribs. Mommy was going to wait, but Nana sure knows what she is talking about. That cereal was yummy! When mommy put it in my mouth, I gave her a big smile. I did a great job eating it and only made a little mess. I can get use to this eating thing. I say "Bring on the rest"! But Mommy says I have to wait a little longer.
Boy! That was mighty good!

Mattie is really getting big. She is such a good baby. Its hard to beleive that she is eating cereal already.
I can't believe she had cereal already! Lucas seems to nurse all the time; I wonder if I need to supplement with cereal!
Mattie is doing wonderful and seems very satisfied. I know they usually start around 4 mths, but I think you need to use your own judgement. We are feeding her cereal only once a day and she loves it!
That is so great that she's doing so well! She's got such a cute little belly on her! I'm so used to my little skinny stick, but I like those little round baby bellies!! :o)
