This and That

Thanks for all your opinions! I think we are going to wait a little longer before getting Mattie's haircut.....sorry Nana! I know how much you want her hair cut. I'm thinking maybe before we go back to school. We'll have to see. I may just get a "wild hair" and just have it cut one day. I'll be sure to post when we do cut it.

Now that Mattie has teeth on top and bottom, she keeps grinding them. The sound is driving me crazy!! I hope for my sanity and her teeth that this is short lived.

Last night, she went in the "big" pool. Mattie kept putting her face in the water which surprised me. She kicks those little legs like crazy. She is suppose to take swimming lessons if it all works out. A friend has talked with someone on the board of Arc who was wanting to give free lessons. That would be great if it all works out. Haven't heard anything yet so we'll see.

Well we are getting ready to head over to a ball game to watch a friend play. Hope we don't melt from all the heat and humidity!

Is It Time?

I said Mattie would not get a haircut until she was at least a year old. She is now 2 days shy of being 16 months. When her hair is down, it is in her eyes. Which means we have to try and keep hair clips or bands in her hair most of the time. She is pretty good about keeping them in. So do you think it is time for Mattie to get a haircut? If so, bangs or no bangs?

.....what do you hear????

Me? It would be peace and quiet. Wow....I've haven't heard the sound of nothing in a looonnnngg time. Why would it be quiet? Because my oldest went to the beach with her Nana, Caroline went to a ball game with a friend, and the baby is with a friend. So....... sounds like the perfect time for a dinner and a movie. No kids to feed, No kids to fuss over, No whining, No....No....No saying No. Wow.

Finally More Teeth!

Mattie got her first two bottom teeth around Christmas. She hasn't gotten any since......until now! She has teeth coming in on top. She had three emerge pretty much at the same time and I think the one next to those will be in soon too.

Here is a picture. I promise she wasn't tortured to get this picture. We just had to maneuver pulling up her top lip and clicking the camera at the right time. It took two of us but we got it on the first try!
