Anybody reading anything good?
I just finished reading True Believer by Nicholas Sparks. He is always a pretty easy read and he's from New Bern which isn't too far from me. A lot of his books take place in North Carolina so I'm very familiar with the settings.
I also read Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. I liked the suspense but it kind of creeped me out. I think I would of liked the movie much better if I had not read the book first.
I loved Marley and Me. I cried and cried and then cried some more! Then we got the movie and we all blubbered over the movie. We even had Mattie crying because we were crying so much!
So anyway.....I'm trying to read as much as I can this summer so if you've read anything good lately, let me know. I'm always looking for a good book!

Hey Kim......
the beach....we are only about 1 1/2 hrs. north of Tallahassee, so we chose one just south of there...Wakulla Springs. It has glass-bottom boat rides and several other things to do there. I'm sooooooo excited!!! I've already been to the dollar store to get JEB some beach play toys!!!
Now, as far as reading goes.....I read all Nora Roberts, Fern Michaels books and I'm actually reading stuff I read back in HS by Victoria Holt. The Library is great for older stuff! They are sort of mystery-period piece stuff, but I enjoy it!
All I'm reading right now is Harry Potter in anticipation of the next movie to be released. My oldest and I are counting down the days!
I am reading the new beverly lewis book "secrets".. i love her!
Depends on what you like , but I am in love with anything by Gladys Hasty Carroll. She writes a lot about life in Maine. They are old books and hard to find, but worth the look. It sounds dull but the way she writes just pulled me in.I am determined to get to Berwick Maine this summer to "see" what I've been reading.
