Down syndrome hasn't been near as scary as I pictured the day I learned the news. It hasn't been even close to the images that I pictured in my mind. I have this beautiful daughter who is simply my daughter. I am truly blessed and thank God each day for sending her to our family!

Happy Birthday Mattie!! I was just thinking about her birthday the other day and wondering what day you actually celebrate it. (I think I asked the same question last year :) She does look like such a big girl now. I can't believe that Ella will be 2 in one month. By the way, Ella has that same outfit.
