So when do you put up your Christmas tree? What is your experience?
We usually put ours up the weekend after Thanksgiving, but have been known to wait until the first weekend of December......or later. I dread putting up the tree!!!! It's the lights. They make me crazy!! One year I was so fed up I took out the scissors and cut them right off the tree. This is very unusual behavior for my laid back personality but I'm telling you.....they make me crazy! Once I get the lights up....I'm good. I really should invest in a pre-lit tree. After the lights are up, then my kids and husband know it's "safe" to come into the room and help with the rest. I think I may need some counseling :-)

I used to love to decorate...I'd take down all the regular decor and put up all Christmas. But then life changed, I got a bit burned and it related to the season, and since then I've had trouble decorating. So we haven't even put our tree up the last few years. This year, maybe we'll put one up, like a table top kind, but that's about it. Sad but true. Maybe I can get jazzed and suprise myself this year. :o)
I LOOOOOVE my pre-lit tree!!!! It's SO easy and no light drama. I used to stress out about the lights too! LOL We'll probably put ours up this weekend.

Mine goes up usually the week-end of Thanksgiving. I got a head start this year! I remember when you cut all the lights off. That was sooo funny! and so unlike you.

So you do the lights by yourself? Maybe that's why it's driving you crazy! LOL
We usually put the decorations/tree up this weekend following Thanksgiving, but with us moving soon there won't be any decorating going on! Kind of bummed about that, but i still have my Christmas music on the radio LOL
That's funny! I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall! We don't have a designated time that we do ours, but we did it on Thanksgiving this year!
I hate lights as well! A few years ago I bought a fiber-optic tree and love it. It is not as big as I would like but I have no lights to deal with! We usually put ours up right around Thanksgiving- some times before and others after.
